Rainy season starts in Okinawa

NAHA, Japan - People walk in the rain in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, on May 19. The Okinawa Meteorological Observatory said the rainy season started in the prefecture and a neighboring area in southwestern Japan the same day, eight days later than in an average year and 10 days later than last year.
