1st Japanese-American receives prestigious curator award
LOS ANGELES, United States - Karin Higa, a senior curator at the Japanese-American National Museum, has received a $50,000 grant from the Peter Norton Family Foundation in recognition of her efforts to showcase Japanese-American artists in the United States. She is the first Japanese-American to receive the Norton curator grant.
