Japanese schoolgirl wins int'l peace poster contest

HONOLULU, United States - Satoko Nakadate, a 14-year-old junior high school student from Tokyo, poses in front of her work that won the grand prize in an international poster design contest sponsored by Lions Clubs International on June 21. She received a cash prize of $2,500 and a plaque recognizing her achievement from the civic association for winning its 12th annual Peace Poster Contest at a ceremony held in Honolulu.
