Quakes hit Kozushima Island
HIGASHI-IZU, Japan - A road on Kozushima Island, south of Tokyo, is covered with earth loosened by a series of strong earthquakes that jolted the island June 29. The Meteorological Agency said the tremors are not directly related to volcanic activity at neighboring Miyakejima Island.
