1 man killed in car buried by landslide in Kozushima

KOZUSHIMA, Japan - A car driven by a 32-year-old man was buried in a landslide triggered by a powerful earthquake that jolted the island of Kozushima in the Izu island chain on July 1. Kenichi Furukawa was rescued but died later. More than 10 landslides occurred on the island following the quake.
