Mori pledges to promote IT development

TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori delivers his first policy speech in the Diet after last month's general election at a plenary session of the House of Representatives on July 28. He pledged to place information technology (IT) at the center of his economic policy and to promote IT in a way that would enable everyone in Japan to reap its benefits.
