Underwear-maker Wacoal to open online fitting service

OSAKA, Japan - Leading Japanese undergarment maker Wacoal Corp. will launch Aug. 22 a new online fitting service for women, and begin selling some of its products over the Internet. Wacoal will begin ''fit navi'' on its Web site (http://www.wacoal.co.jp), which will allow women aged 18 to 64 to know how their sizes will typically change every five years. Users will be required to input their age, height, weight and bust-waist-hips measurements for computers to calculate changes based on data from over 30,000 Japanese women.
