Ex-Ambassador to U.S. Saito named new JICA chief
TOKYO, Japan - Former Japanese Ambassador to the United States Kunihiko Saito will be appointed president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on Sept. 1, Foreign Ministry officials said Aug. 25. Saito, now an adviser to the ministry, will succeed Kimio Fujita. Both men are former officials of the Foreign Ministry.
