GSDF starts 2-day live firing drill in Shizuoka Pref.+
HIGASHI-FUJI, Japan - Some 1,700 Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) members begin a two-day live firing drill at the Higashi-Fuji Training Area in Shizuoka Prefecture on Sept. 9. The drill features about 60 tanks, 70 large-caliber guns such as howitzers and 30 helicopters.
