Japan father-son cabbies arrive in London
LONDON, Britain - Two Japanese taxi drivers make their way to London on Sept. 14 -- on their own taxicab, after driving 19,000 kilometers from Japan and passing through 12 countries. Takemasa Irie, 59 and his 29-year-old son, Takeshige, looked exhausted but jubilant as they arrived in London's Juxon Street, reputedly the birthplace of the world's first licensed motorized taxi.
