Tamura jumps for joy after gaining Japan's 1st gold
SYDNEY, Australia - Women's judo world champion Ryoko Tamura, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, jumps for joy after ending her eight-year wait for a first gold medal in the women's 48-kilogram class judo event Sept. 16 at the Sydney Olympics. The gold was also the first for her country at the Millenium Games.
