U.N. refugee agency chief Ogata wins Seoul Peace Award
SEOUL, South Korea - U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Sadako Ogata receives the Seoul Peace Prize for 2000 on Oct. 13 at a Seoul hotel. The award, created to commemorate the 1988 Seoul Olympics, was given in recognition for her services in refugee relief in hot spots around the world as chief of the U.S. agency.
