Shuttle Discovery docks with space station
HOUSTON, United States - The space shuttle Discovery docks with the International Space Station on Oct. 13, the third day of its 11-day mission. Seen in the middle is the shuttle's robot arm, with Earth in the background. The space shuttle's seven crew members, including Japan's Koichi Wakata, will spend one week attaching two key components to the space station and carrying out a series of spacewalks.
