Judoka Tamura commended
TOKYO, Japan - Judoka Ryoko Tamura (L) is awarded a silver shield by Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori at the premier's official residence Nov. 6. Tamura won a gold medal at the Sydney Olympics in September after two unsuccessful attempts at the 1992 and 1996 Games. Tamura was commended for ''achieving excellent results and contributing greatly to sports in Japan.''
