(1)Japan to proposes additional World Heritage sites
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows the Golden-Colored Hall of Chusonji Temple in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture, dedicated in 1126 by Fujiwara no Kiyohira. A government advisory panel decided Nov. 17 to propose three Japanese cultural sites, including a group of 12th-century Buddhist temples and other buildings in Hiraizumi, for the World Heritage List of the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
