Women demonstrate to support trial on sex war crimes
FRANKFURT, Germany - Women demonstrate near the Japanese Embassy in Berlin on Nov. 22 to show their support for a ''Women's International War Crime Tribunal'' to investigate sexually violent acts committed by Japan's military during World War II. About 150 people, including church representatives, members of both Korean and Japanese women's groups in Germany and German grassroots activists marched in the demonstration. The tribunal, to be held in Tokyo, is scheduled for Dec. 8-10, but will not carry any legal authority.
