Lions' Matsuzaka resumes pitching

TOKOROZAWA, Japan - Seibu Lions pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka resumes pitching Nov. 25 at Seibu Dome in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, in a friendly game with boys from Miyakejima Island who have been evacuated to Tokyo and vicinity following the eruption of the Mt. Oyama volcano there. Matsuzaka was pitching for the first time since the Tokyo Summary Court fined him 195,000 yen in late October for driving without a license.
