Overseas train operators take ride on Japan's maglev
KOFU, Japan - Officials and researchers of overseas train services take a ride Nov. 28 on the Japan Railway (JR) group's magnetically levitated train on an experimental line in Yamanashi Prefecture. The passengers were from Australia, Belgium, Britain, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, all of which have or plan to build high-speed railways.
