Narita airport post office starts shifting Christmas mail
NARITA, Japan - Aika Takahasi, a 28-year-old cabinet attendant of All Nippon Airways, stands by crates of Christmas letters and cards from overseas at the New Tokyo International Airport Post Office at Narita airport on Dec. 11. The office held a ceremony to mark the start of delivering them to various parts of Japan. The office is expected to handle some 16.47 million letters and cards this year, up 470,000 from last year.
