Tokyo stocks continue to fall as Wall St. tumbles

TOKYO, Japan - Passersby watch an electronic stock price display at a securities company in Tokyo's Nihombashi business district on Dec. 21. The Tokyo Stock Exchange's benchmark 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average plunged 267.86 points, or 1.93%, to end the morning at 13,646.57, after falling below 14,000 for the first time in 21 months the previous day.
