Nippon Travel, Kinki Nippon Tourist agree to merge
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows the building housing the headquarters of Nippon Travel Agency Co. in the Shimbashi district of Tokyo's Minato Ward. Nippon Travel and Kinki Nippon Tourist Co. have agreed in principle to merge in January 2003, sources close to the deal said Jan. 18. The companies are Japan's third- and second-largest travel agencies respectively.
