Lee says U.S. presence necessary for Asian security balance
DAVOS, Switzerland - Singapore senior minister Lee Kuan Yew in an interview with Kyodo News in Davos on Jan. 28, said U.S. presence in Asia is essential for maintaining security in the region, especially as China's power grows over the next few decades. Lee is in the Swiss ski resort of Davos to attend a business summit hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
