Japanese-American becomes lawyer 99 years after passing bar
NEW YORK, United States - Photo shows Takuji Yamashita, whom the Washington State Supreme Court posthumously admitted to the bar on March 1, 99 years after first denying a law license to the promising young law school graduate whose only impediment was that he was born in Japan.
