Upper house rejects censure motion against Mori
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori bows to members of the House of Councillors on March 14 after the upper house rejected a censure motion against him with a majority vote from members of the ruling coalition. The motion, proposed by four opposition parties and one parliamentary group, was defeated in the 252-seat upper house by 138 votes to 105.
