Kawasaki, NKK to integrate operations in 2002

TOKYO, Japan - Yoichi Shimogaichi (L), president of NKK Corp., Japan's second-largest steelmaker, and Kanji Emoto, president of Kawasaki Steel Corp., ranking third, shake hands at a news conference in a Tokyo hotel on April 13.
