Taiwan's Lee says he feels 'great' to be in Japan
OSAKA, Japan - Former Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui smiles while taking a short walk April 23 with his wife Tseng Wen-fui along the Okawa River near their hotel in Osaka. He told well-wishers and supporters waiting outside the hotel he is thrilled to be in Osaka. Lee arrived in Japan on April 22 for medical treatment. China claims the visit is a politically motivated plot by pro-independence forces in Taiwan.
