Webb wins 2nd straight Nichirei Cup title
TOKYO, Japan - Karrie Webb of Australia smiles after successfully defending her Nichirei Cup World Ladies title at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club on May 6. Webb, who began the final round tied with Carin Koch of Sweden, shot a 1-under-par 71 in gusting winds to finish the 72-hole event at 10-under 278 -- two strokes shy of the tournament record she set last year.
