Osaka repeats vow to press on with 2008 Olympic bid
LAUSANNE, Switzerland - Osaka Mayor Takafumi Isomura, at a news conference in Lausanne on May 16, reiterates his commitment to press on with Osaka's bid to host the 2008 Olympic Summer Games. Isomura made the commitment after the International Olympic Committee virtually removed Osaka from contention.
