U.S., N. Korea resume talks in N.Y., 1st under Bush
NEW YORK, United States - North Korean Ambassador to the United Nations Ri Hyong Chol walks to an undisclosed location in New York on June 13 to meet with Charles Pritchard, a former White House National Security Council aide who was recently named as U.S. special envoy in charge of peace talks for the Korean Peninsula. Ri and Pritchard resumed U.S.-North Korean talks interrupted after U.S. President George W. Bush came to office in January.
