Japanese duet off to good start at swimming world c'ships
FUKUOKA, Japan - Japan's Miya Tachibana (foreground) and Miho Takeda perform in the synchronized swimming technical routine at the Messe pool in Fukuoka on July 16, the opening day of the swimming world championships. They accumulated 34.300 points to take the lead, only to be matched by Russian teenage pair Anastasia Davydova and Anastassia Ermakova.
