U.S., Australia disqualified in women's 4x200-meter

FUKUOKA, Japan - Japan's women's 4x200-meter freestyle swimming team hold up their bronze medals at Marine Messe Fukuoka on July 26 after world swimming body FINA disqualified Australia and the United States in the July 25 event at the swimming world championships. Britain won the gold and Germany took silver following the Jury of Appeal's unanimous decision on disqualification after the Australians broke FINA rules by jumping into the pool before the end of the race and an American swimmer had taken off too early.
