Ehime education board adopts controversial textbook
MATSUYAMA, Japan - Toshio Doi (L), chairman of the Ehime prefectural education board, speaks at a news conference Aug. 8 on his board's decision to adopt a controversial history textbook penned by a group of nationalistic scholars for use in schools for handicapped children. He said the decision by the six-member board was unanimous.
