Nagoya wetland worth inclusion in treaty
NAGOYA, Japan - Delmar Blasco, secretary general of the Swiss-based Ramsar Convention Bureau, inspects the Fujimae mudflat in Nagoya on Sept. 1. Blasco said later the 120-hectare mudflat is an ''internationally important wetland and worth listing'' in the 1971 Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.
