LDP lawmaker Koso tenders resignation to Diet

TOKYO, Japan - Ruling Liberal Democratic Party lawmaker Kenji Koso emerges from talks with Mikio Aoki, secretary general of the LDP's upper house bloc, in the Diet on Sept. 25. He later tendered his resignation to the Diet in connection with the arrests of postal officials suspected of illegally aiding his election campaign two months ago.
