Consumers express alarm over 2nd suspected mad cow case

TOKYO, Japan - A notice at a Tokyo supermarket Oct. 12 tells shoppers the beef the store sells is not from cows raised on meat and bone meal, the suspected cause of mad cow disease. A cow suspected of having the disease was found at Tokyo's central wholesale market. If confirmed, it will become Japan's second case of mad cow disease.
