Farm minister speaks on mad cow scare
TOKYO, Japan - Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Tsutomu Takebe is surrounded by reporters Oct. 12 following an announcement by the Tokyo metropolitan government that a cow slaughtered at Tokyo's central wholesale market is suspected of being infected with mad cow disease.
