Afghan boy flees to Pakistan, recounts air strikes
PESHAWAR, Pakistan - Faridullah Saharjan, a 14-year-old Afghan boy, speaks Oct. 12 of his two-night trek to Peshawar, Pakistan from his war-torn homeland. He told Kyodo News, ''I couldn't sleep the first night of the bombing, because I was so scared. I was told by my father to run away, so I finally reached here after (endlessly) walking through for two nights.''
