Oita's Beppu therapeutic mud in hot springs to be marketed

OITA, Japan - A woman receives an aesthetic treatment using fango, a therapeutic mud found in the hot springs in Beppu, Oita Prefecture. A group in Beppu plans to market nationwide the mud, composed of organic clay and minerals such as iron, with the aim of attracting more revenue and tourists to the southwestern Japanese city.
