Ezaki Glico succeeds in mass producing whitening cosmetics agent
TOKYO, Japan - Major confectionery firm Ezaki Glico said Oct. 24 it has succeeded in mass producing a new whitening substance for cosmetics that is more effective than a similar existing one. The substance, named Alpha-Arbutin, was developed with Pentapharm Japan Corp., the Japan unit of Swiss chemical maker Pentapharm Corp. Two photos compared a normal skin and a skin treated with the substance.
