Yanai denies U.S. put pressure for SDF dispatch
WASHINGTON, United States - Outgoing Japanese Ambassador to the United States Shunji Yanai spoke in an interview with Kyodo News at the Japanese Embassy in Washington on Oct. 23. He denied Washington has pressured Japan to dispatch Self-Defense Forces (SDF) to provide logistical support for the U.S.-led military campaign against terrorism.
