Hollywood sign may change color in support of U.S. troops
LOS ANGELES, United States - The famous Hollywood landmark sign (background) in Los Angeles may turn red, white and blue next month in a show of support for American troops fighting in Afghanistan if Los Angeles City councilman Eric Garcetti gets his way. Garcetti introduced a motion on Oct. 26 that would allow the sign to be painted in the color scheme just in time for Veteran's Day on Nov 11.
