Nissan, Renault reach cross-shareholding agreement

TOKYO, Japan - Nissan Motor Co. President Carlos Ghosn (standing) and Renault S.A. Chairman Louis Schweitzer (seen on the screen) announce a cross-shareholding agreement under which Nissan will buy a 15% stake in Renault, and Renault will bolster its Nissan equity stake to 44.4% from 36.8%.
