Civilians file lawsuit over Koizumi's Yasukuni visit

OSAKA, Japan - Plaintiffs enter the Osaka District Court on Nov. 1 to file a lawsuit claiming that Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi violated the Constitution on Aug. 13 when he visited Yasukuni Shrine, a Shinto shrine in Tokyo which honors Japan's war dead along with several Class-A war criminals.

        Ono Pharmaceutical to dispute suit filed by Nobel laureate
