Avispa management apologizes for player who paid teen for sex
FUKUOKA, Japan - Yoshihiro Yanagi (L), senior managing director of the company running J-League soccer team Avispa Fukuoka, and the company's managing director, Katsuhiko Machida, bow at a news conference in Fukuoka's Chuo Ward on Nov. 3. A 19-year-old team member, whose name was withheld because he is a minor, was arrested on suspicion of paying a 14-year-old junior high school girl in July to fondle her.
