Tokyo fire drill conducted at S. Korean film preview

TOKYO, Japan - The Tokyo Fire Department conducts a fire drill Nov. 6 at the Yurakucho Marion theater in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward with the cooperation of about 450 moviegoers attending a film preview of a new South Korean film, ''Libera ME.'' The latest drill came on the heels of recent deadly fires in the Kabukicho entertainment district in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward.

Police investigate site of fatal Tokyo fire

TOKYO, Japan - Police officers and firefighters search a building in a popular nightspot in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward on Sept. 1 for clues about the fatal fire that killed 44 people there the day before. Searchers focused on the third floor of the four-story Meisei 56 Building in the Kabukicho entertainment district, as the fire is thought to have started on that floor.
