Japan Energy, Nippon Mining to form joint holding firm
TOKYO, Japan - Japan Energy Corp. Chairman Akihiko Nomiyama (L) and Nippon Mining & Metals Co. Chairman and President Takashi Sakamoto shake hands at a news conference in Toikyo on Nov. 9, 2001, where they announced the two firms have agreed in principle to come under a joint holding company to be established in October 2002.
