1st bio-terrorism drill held at sea in Yokohama
YOKOHAMA, Japan - Special rescue team members of the Japan Coast Guard's regional headquarters in Yokohama remove white powder in a bio-terrorism drill Nov. 27 aboard the 3,500-ton patrol boat Izu at Yokohama Port. The drill, the first such drill conducted at sea in Japan, was based on the hypothesis that anthrax had been found on a passenger ship in Tokyo Bay.
