Japan sends medical survey mission to Pakistan for refugees
QUETTA, Pakistan - Afghan women and children, mostly from the southeastern province of Kandahar, wait for their medical checkup at a refugee camp near Quetta, Pakistan, on Dec. 4, 2001. The Japanese government dispatched a mission to Pakistan earlier in the day to survey medical needs of Afghan refugees in the country.
