Nomura resigns as Hanshin Tigers manager

NISHINOMIYA, Japan - Hanshin Tigers manager Katsuya Nomura announces his resignation Dec. 6 at a news conference at the team's office in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan. He resigned after his wife Sachiyo was arrested on suspicion of tax evasion.
