NEW YORK, United States - North Korea's new ambassador to the United Nations Pak Gil Yon (L) shakes hands with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan at the U.N. headquarters in New York on Dec. 5 after presenting his credentials. Pak, a veteran U.S. expert who served as ambassador to the U.N. in 1991-1996, replaced Li Hyong Chol.
